   • Continuation of LDA Steering Committee
     • LDE thanks the members of the Liberal Democrats Abroad Steering Committee for their work in responding to the mandate agreed at its Local Party AGM in November 2024. This Annual General Meeting agrees to the adoption of LDA Steering Committee mandate for 2026 which will run from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028.
       The Steering Committee shall submit an annual report of its activities and progress towards the goals set out in the mandate in time for consideration at the AGM’s of the Local parties within Liberal Democrats Abroad.
   • Continuing discussions with aim of further cooperation and merger with LD in France

     • A resolution was adopted at the 2024 LDE Annual General Meeting mandating the Executive to enter into discussions with LDF with a view to increased collaboration and/or merger between the two local parties. Discussions between representatives of both parties ensued but no formal agreement has been reached to date. This AGM proposes that the Executive continue to work with LDF under a European Liberal Democrat banner to identify potential solutions for the future of both local parties.
