The Liberal Democrats in Europe is the local party for members of the UK Liberal Democrats living in Europe (outside of France).

We promote the Liberal Democrats and liberal values and policies across the continent. We campaign on issues affecting the 1.3 million British citizen living in Europe. Whether you're a Liberal Democrat who's moved abroad and wants to remain active, or from sister ALDE parties with common values, you're welcome to be part of our community.

With active members currently in 28 countries, from Portugal to Ukraine, we have a lot of insight into politics across the continent. Both inside and outside the EU. Under liberal and illiberal national governments. With a wide variety of local situations and cultures. We bring an open-minded and tolerant perspective - in a word: liberal.

We work closely with other abroad local parties - LibDems in France and LibDems Overseas - and we collectively make up LibDems Abroad.
