European Elections Preparations Start

British government has informed the European Council that it is to start preparations for the European elections in the UK

The government still hopes that it will have agreed to a deal with the European Union to allow the elections to be cancelled. The Liberal Democrats are clear - the UK government should withdraw the Article 50 declaration and remain in the European Union to reform it and improve it.
