Overseas Constituencies

The Liberal Democrats believe British citizens in Europe and Overseas would be cared for better by a series of “overseas constituencies”, with their own MPs to represent their citizens. Other countries do this already, such as France, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania and many others. These MPs would be especially alert to the needs of the nearly 5 million Brits living overseas, as well as accurately representing their views on domestic issues inside the UK.
