We would like to invite you to the first Compass Liberal Democrat Network meeting. It will be on Wednesday 24th March at 5.45pm until 7pm CET. Joining us for their views and thoughts will be Layla Moran MP and Christine Jardine MP. Neil Sherlock has kindly agreed to chair the event.
The is a tough time for progressives of all parties, not least the Lib Dems. But we are certain that by working across parties, progressives of all stripes can not only win the next election but help govern the country more effective precisely because we draw on the talents and experiences of all progressives.
At the meeting, we want to discuss the appetite for cross-party working in the party and how we can deepen the thinking and practice of alliance-building within and without the Lib Dems?
You will be pleased to know that parallel meetings are happening in the Greens and Labour initiated by Compass. It is also good to see 187 constituency Labour Party’s have now passed resolutions in favour of PR. There is a groundswell for this collaborative politics. How do we maximise its impact in the Lib Dems?
Sign up and we shall send you a Zoom link to the meeting.
